Hip Hop Dance

The dancers will be practicing a cool routine throughout the week and on Friday they will put on a performance to show us their moves!!

Stomp
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

Trash cans, sticks, bottles - did you know that you can make musical instruments out of these things?  Through the unique and exciting ideas that come from the hit performers of Stomp, you'll put together a high energy performance of your own, under the direction of spirited students from a nearby, respected performing arts school!

Mystery Maniacs
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

A crime has been committed at The Art Farm, and we need your help to solve the case! You will search for information, interview suspects, learn about the science behind crime fighting and put all the clues together to solve the mystery. The solution will be revealed on Friday afternoon, with winners announced and prizes awarded. Don't let the criminals get away!

Be a Fashion Entrepreneur
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

Have you ever wanted to launch your own fashion line? You will meet with successful women in the fashion industry for insider tips and advice on how to turn your design ideas into a product line. Participants will then design and produce accessories that will be sold at a Hampton's boutique to raise money for charity of their choice.

3-D Short Film
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

How do they do that? Find out when you become the creator, director and filmmaker of your own 3D short film adventure. Invite your fans to the camp-wide film premiere where they will don their 3-D glasses for the up close and personal view that only the magic of 3-D imagining can provide.

Green Screen Movie Making
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

We'll provide a green screen, computer, camera and lots of crazy props. You'll be the creative team behind creating a stop motion animated film with the Art Farm campers. Once your film is complete you'll add a digital background and have a movie screening at the Art Farm.

Teen Fashion Magazine
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

Be a part of the editorial team that will create a magazine featuring your ideas and designs. Previous issues featured fashion do's & don'ts, red carpet looks the kids designed and modeled, movie reviews, interviews and more. What will be in this year's issue? Join this workshop and you'll get to make it happen.

Camp Rock
Campers: Ages 10 years and up

If you can count to 4, tap your feet and throw a ball, you can learn the basics of rock instruments like: drums, guitar, keyboards and bass guitar in a real recording studio environment. Students in the group will utilize these skills as well as their creative sense to write a song, perform and record it.

Extreme Green Technology
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

Don't try this at home... until you've come to this extreme technology workshop. Want to wreck some stuff? Use tools to (safely!) crack open and see the insides of computers, VCRs, telephones and all kinds of electronics and give them a new useful life. Stop buying stuff destined for the landfill – and make cool stuff yourself and enjoy the process! Learn how different green concepts work and some theory behind them. Projects include the Tesla coil challenge, alternative fuel powered gadgets and DIY electronics.

Future Writers
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

Work with local top publications to learn the trade. Learn interviewing skills, develop your writing style and "voice", tour offices and work in small groups with leading authors and editors.  Works will be featured in publications!

Future Vets
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

Do you love animals and think that working with them is a great match for you? Here's the chance to get hands on experience caring for animals, learning introductory veterinarian skills from a trained veterinarian. See if you have what it takes!

Future Chefs
Campers: Ages 7 years and up

Not only will you learn how to prepare a delicious 3 course meal under the direction of an executive chef, you'll also learn the etiquette of fine dining and have the opportunity to design your own tablescape and place settings.
