Jeremy Grosnevor
Our Surfing Instructor
Our surfing instructor, Jeremy Grosnevor has taught in the Hamptons for the last 15 years and has been with us for five years. He puts safety first and has the expertise as well as the patience to be an excellent instructor. He is trained in CPR, First Aid, WSI and is an ocean lifeguard.
When in the ocean groups of 12 children will be supervised by the instructor, and 3 additional surf instructors. We supply red rash guards, which are mandatory to wear, even over wet suits. Respect for the water is mandatory and we insist that the rules set by the instructors be followed without exception. In order to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone involved we will ask any participants to leave if rules cannot be followed. The riders will be taught what to do in case of a rip tide which is very important to know even when you are in the water swimming at any time.

George Howard
George is returning as our captain for the 3rd summer with the Riders."I love being out in the water with our great instructors and campers. The results we see are truly amazing. It is that incredible moment …you see it on their face when they have accomplished a personal challenge. We all feel good…and the smiles are contagious!"
Garrett Cuttler
After being in charge of the Riders as well as teaching and instructing for the past six years, Garrett decided to take his captains license. This summer in addition to being everyone's FAVORITE counselor/instructor he will also be their very own private Captain. During the school year Captain Garrett is a teacher at the Ross School (Upper Campus) teaching Wellness/Physical Education and Health. He is also the head Girl's Basketball and Boy's Lacrosse Coach. Each year as the summer approaches he looks forward to the Riders and another great summer on the boat!
Brad Tufano
With 15 years plus of experience……A shredder all all kinds…..Snow boarding, Kite boarding, Wake boarding and his most recent passion…….. Wake skating!
Brad was also a sailing instructor for several years at the Westhampton Yacht Squadron where he enjoyed teaching and watching children progress.

Currently attending Molloy College in pursuit of his Pre-Med. Biology BA Degree, we are super excited to welcome Brad to our Riders Team during our summer season.
Brad holds his captains license and will in addition to instructing be your captain!
While on the boat each group of 6 participants will be supervised by our captain
and an instructor.
All Riders must wear US Coast Guard approved live vests.
All instructors hold their certificates in First Aid and CPR
